Julie is a professional director and choreographer that lives and works between Toronto, Vancouver, and NYC. Recent choreography/directing credits: CRAZY FOR YOU (Gateway Theatre -­‐ Jessie Nominee and Ovation Award Winner – Outstanding Choreography), SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, ON THE TOWN, & CABARET (Finger Lakes MT Festival, NY), HAIRSPRAY & SHREK (TUTS), CHESS (Theatre Sheridan), THE JUNGLE BOOK & ILLUMINITE (Creativiva), HELEN LAWRENCE & MY TURQUOISE YEARS (Arts Club), THE GIRL IN THE FRAME (Intimate Theatre), JOE SEGAL: AN EXTRAORDINARY LIFE (Infinity Films), and CELEBRATE BROADWAY at the Kennedy Center in D.C. (starring John Lithgow and Linda Eder). She has choreographed for television shows SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED, PACKAGE DEAL, and YTV/Disney XD’s MR. YOUNG; as well as the pilot episodes of BLINK (starring John Benjamin Hickey) and WARRIOR for NBC/Universal. Notable professional performance credits include six years as a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall, Louise on the US National Tour of CRAZY FOR YOU, Margie in the ABC TV Movie remake BYE BYE BIRDIE, and regionally in THE PRODUCERS, 42ND STREET, EVITA, CABARET, MY FAIR LADY, CHICAGO, GUYS AND DOLLS, and A FUNNY THING..FORUM. Julie also teaches internationally; credits include AMDA NYC (faculty), Capilano University (faculty), Sheridan College (faculty), Harbour Dance Centre (faculty), Broadway Dance Centre, DanzaActiva in Panama, Ballet Clasico in the Dominican Republic, and the Mediterranean Festival of the Arts in Italy.
