Phil has been a performer and Director/Choreographer for over 20 years.  His performing career began by playing Chino in Stratford’s 1999 production of West Side Story followed by a year as a member of the original Toronto Company of The Lion King.  Then Phil spent a year as dance captain for the Toronto production of Mamma Mia which lead to an offer to play Pepper on the US National Tour of Mamma Mia.  In 2007 Phil began a 2 year association with The Lord of The Rings; one year as Dance Captain for the Toronto production and then as Assistant Choreographer for London’s West End production.

As a Director/Choreographer Phil has done West Side Story (Ganaraska Summer Festival), A Chorus Line (Stagewest Mississauga), Big Time Operator (Sheridan College) and Cinderella (Randolph Academy.)

As a Choreographer some his favourite shows include, Beauty and the Beast, Sound of Music, The Rocky Horror Show, Wizard of Oz and Little Women (The Citadel Theatre,) Chicago, Fiddler on the Roof, Spamalot (Stagewest Calgary,) Chicago (Neptune,) The Rocky Horror Show (Theatre New Brunswick) West Side Story (Stagewest Mississauga.)

Up next for Phil as Choreographer are Rapunzel, The Panto at The Capitol Theatre, followed by Young Frankenstein at Stagewest Calgary.  When he is not doing a show you can find him teaching or massaging at Metro Movement!
